I have visited Death Valley every winter since 2009. Though I have exposed many sheets of film here over the years, I have learned that it is difficult to take photos that truly capture this vast expense of space.

The salt flats and sand dunes in Death Valley change significantly from year to year. Each trip is like visiting an entirely new location
