I photographed this scene on my winter 2022 trip to Death Valley National Park. I loved the look of these boulders, and how the largest one is held in suspense like a grain of sand in a giant hourglass.

This photo was taken on Fuji Provia 100F transparency film with a Fujinon A 240mm f/9.0 lens on an Arca-Swiss F Metric view camera.
