I photographed this scene on my winter 2020 trip to Death Valley National Park. I found this subject alongside the road while out for the drive one morning. It flashed past my driver side window at highway speed. I pulled to the shoulder, grabbed my 8x10 kit, then took this photo just before harsh direct sunlight spilled into the scene.

The photo has already been drum scanned and optimized for print.
